Not All Blind Spots Are Bad

We often hear the term “blind spot” with a negative connotation.

→ Something hidden.

→ Something is wrong with us.

→ Something shaping us without our awareness.

But not all blind spots are bad. In fact, some are the keys to unlocking our greatest potential.

I was working with someone the other day who had concerns about the amount of time it would take for them to become ‘experts’ in something they were thinking about pursuing.

I pointed out several things they were already expert at, that they enjoyed and were quite marketable.

I love that moment when a client sees something about themselves they couldn’t see before. Whether it’s a strength they’ve undervalued or a habit that’s been holding them back, it’s like watching a light switch on.

This fresh perspective, the one you can’t get on your own, is one of the most rewarding parts of my work as an executive coach.

We all have blind spots. They aren’t just flaws—they’re opportunities to grow, realign, and thrive.

Are you ready to discover what’s just beyond your view?

Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh set of eyes to see your next breakthrough.

As someone who’s been in your shoes—founder, CEO, board member—I know how valuable these insights can be.

Let’s uncover yours together.

Question: What blind spot might be holding you back—or propelling you forward?
