Networking for others

I used to avoid networking.

→ I was not comfortable with self-promotion

→ Fear of rejection or being judged

→ Too busy

→ Not sure what to say...more discomfort.

I'd go to an event, find a couple of people I knew and just spend time with them and not talk to anyone new...which is NOT networking.

This all changed for me when I made it about others instead of me.

I really enjoy helping other people and I enjoy building meaningful relationships. I focus on them and their needs and this almost always becomes reciprocal.

I'm really excited to be heading down to Atlanta this week to attend the Entrepreneurs' Organization Nerve event!

A week of networking with other business owners.

Lots of compelling talks, offsite events and rich conversations.

To get my head fully in the game, re-reading Joe Apfelbaum's High Energy Networking.
