I used to avoid networking.
→ I was not comfortable with self-promotion
→ Fear of rejection or being judged
→ Too busy
→ Not sure what to say...more discomfort.
I'd go to an event, find a couple of people I knew and just spend time with them and not talk to anyone new...which is NOT networking.
This all changed for me when I made it about others instead of me.
I really enjoy helping other people and I enjoy building meaningful relationships. I focus on them and their needs and this almost always becomes reciprocal.
I'm really excited to be heading down to Atlanta this week to attend the Entrepreneurs' Organization Nerve event!
A week of networking with other business owners.
Lots of compelling talks, offsite events and rich conversations.
