Having discipline and routines are powerful ways to affect change but sometimes you might need to change things up.
🔸 Do you feel stuck?
🔸 Uninspired?
🔸 Bored with your routine?
🔸 No fresh ideas coming?
Try changing your environment.
I made a slight change to my deck (now my outdoor office) that allows me to start my mornings there without roasting in the sun. My morning routine is pretty much the same but I do it outside overlooking the brook in my yard usually with some birds, rabbits and occasionally a family of deer running around decimating my wife’s flower garden.
From May through October I like to get outside on my road bike. Yes, there is the sun and the nature around me but I also get energized by being out there with all the other people, running, biking, scootering and walking taking in the same nourishment I am.
My daily routines do not change but changing the environment in which I do them provides new energy and perspective.
When I’m working with others who are stuck, I help them keep it simple.
🔹 If you have no morning routine, start one.
🔹 If possible, get outside.
🔹 Change the room you normally start your day in.
🔹 Get some plants for your office and open all the shades.
